I absolutely love this picture. I would say it's a Phoenix bird, worshipper of the Sun...and legend has it that it rises up from the ashes to be born again and again. This bird is a symbol of Hope! I love all the detail and colors you put into this picture.

I would love to live in your town! First, I would go to the Music Shop, then the Art Shop. Then take a break and go to the Ice Cream Shop and try every flavor! I'm glad there is a Lego Shop. We could stay and build so many things together! I like your town.

A Ladybug? Can you tell me how you did this one? If I were to guess, I think you colored the paper with a black crayon and then scratched out the figure of the ladybug shell with her dots and her feet and head.

Lily, I really love this painting and it's reflection! I studied this for awhile to try and figure out if you closed the two papers and pressed them so the extra colors copied onto the blank one...Is that what you did? What a great idea!
