What a magical scene you've created! Excellent perspective on the trees so that they seem to recede in the distance - that is quite the artistic accomplishment! The delicate blue lines in the snow also give the impression of creating hills and snow piles -- another very special artist skill. Nice job! Makes me so excited for Santa's visit! What a groovy cactus, Olive! The contrast of the strong colors really makes this cool dessert dweller stand out. The prickly spines make it very easy to quickly identify this as a cactus and I love that the flower on top looks perfectly like hair. But really, it's totally the sunglasses that make this the best! Do you have any cacti growing at your house?

When I see this piece of your art, it makes me think of how a little bit of love can grow and grow and grow to get bigger and bigger ... especially if one person spreads it to another and another and another. Isn't it nice to think how love can grow just by sharing it? The way you use the staggered lines also make it feel like the heart is pulsing like the sun. Very nice!

Olive, As soon as I saw this piece of art I felt like having a party! Your fireworks are so dynamic I can imagine them exploding in the sky ... the way you use the dashed lines really make them feel like they are in motion! I also like the complimentary colors and how the shapes and designs on the three lanterns are all different. I bet this was for the Chinese Lunar New Year, wasn't it? Love it!

Love, love, love this! The relationship between these two colorful friends is so sweet. They look really curious about one another. It would be so great to have a plaid cat!

Really nice details on this and the expression on her face is so serene ... the eyelashes, the shape of her lips, the way she's holding her head just a little tilted to the side ... very expressive. The decorations in her lovely hair are a particularly nice detail.
