Julia, that's a great drawing that addresses PERSPECTIVE, which is tricky to do. You've got everything just right. (I couldn't have drawn it that well!)

Julia, I LOVE that! Did you draw it as well as paint it? Is it on cloth or paper? Great job, my dear! xoxo Mimi

Julia, I'm trying to figure out how you made this. Is it partly woven paper? I like the colors a lot!

Julia, your artwork is so accomplished this year. I'm really enjoying getting to see it. The "portrait" of Amanda Hug and Kiss (haha!) was terrific, and this one has the nicest colors. I can picture it as a plate, can you?

Julia, this is a very clever artwork. I like your colors and all the detail on the vases. How did you make the black background? That really makes the vases pop off the page.

Beautiful colors, Julia! The red circles with the green dots make me think of watermelon, and now I want some :-)

That drawing's name, "Fantastic Facade" certainly describes it. I like your symmetry and all of the things going on. Can't figure out what are in the upstairs windows, however. One of them looks like my microwave :-)

Julia, I would like to make this our Christmas card picture for this year if only we hadn't already bought them. It's beautiful. Love your sky and the variety of trees. Nice job!

Julia, I can't decide if your creature is cute or scary! But it's painted very well, and are some silver things pasted on too? (Please don't say they're teeth!) I especially like the round white shape on the right. It's my favorite part.

Oh my!! This looks like a fishing trip gone VERY bad. Looks like Julia is about to be lunch! But it's a fun drawing, and I laughed at "I [heart] Mom" on the monstrous fish!

Julsey, I enjoyed looking over all the artwork you've done lately. I hadn't see some of the pieces before. You have a really good sense of design and color. You should pick some for framing! Love, Mimi

Julia, I'm glad those monsters aren't OUR family. They are terrifying! And what do the letters and numbers mean? I enjoyed seeing this one, also the watercolor of the bushy-tailed fox and the birch trees. Nice job!

Julia, this is VERY clever! It looks like the blue cat is drawing a picture of the white cat, and the crayon box is really good. I hope you will keep this drawing and maybe think about framing it.
