Your picture is very appropriate for the season. Your details are spot on and I love it.

Hey Charlotte, as usual, love your work. It looks like the many stained glass windows I've seen in different churches. So real. Anyway, keep up the great work

Charlotte I loved this picture. Your stained glass is perfect. Keep up the good work.

Love your new artwork. Your desert sky is beautiful.
Posted 7 months ago by Grandma
Love the desert landscape, it looks so real. Except maybe for the rainbow sky, but hey, who knows. I've never been in a desert. Great job, so great, I'm starting to get thirsty. Love you.

This looks nice, such great detail! I love a good drawing of a building and I love the fountain, brick walkway, curved doors and everything! Very clearly a misson style building. LOVE YOU!

This picture is very serene. Very Southwest. I like it.

Hello Charlie —- Sending a long overdue comment. I resolve to do better this year. Honest! Your re-imagining of “Starry Night” is thoughtful and intriguing, with your focus being on a quiet camp site rather than the stars themselves. In sum, your drawing is both peaceful and colorful. Very creative! Love, G’pa

This one is lovely! That looks like a great place to visit! Love you!

Hello Charlie —- I like your interpretation of “Blended Trees”. Lots of colorful images presented, but the totality of the drawing seems very uncluttered. Your image of the sun is interesting. Trees must have sunlight to survive and grow, but your sun seems very close to the trees and energetically active. Artistic ambiguity? Your biographers will want to know your intention! Love, G’pa

Tomatoes never looked so delicious. I want them to jump off the page into my mouth. I'm also assuming that those little purple things are olives. A true Mediterranean meal. Terrific, keep up the good work.
Posted 1 year ago by Michael
That's a juicy looking picture. Love it.

I like this drawing because it reminded me of getting up early to go to baseball practice. I'm assuming it's a sunrise and not a sunset. I remember the smell of the grass and the fact that it was still wet from the dew. Every time I smell that now, it brings me back to those days, just like this drawing. Thank you.

I like this drawing because it's a happy drawing. Someone is delivering gifts on Christmas. What could be better than this. I like the fact that you can see all of the individual presents, with a Christman tree riding shotgun. I also like that the candy cane is driving. Well done.

Live your artwork. Looks like everyone is having a good time.

Hello Charlie —- I really like your William Wegman-esque creation; two Weimaraner dogs playing catch! Very consistent with Mr. Wegman’s artistic imagination and approach. One question: What’s the significance of the adult dog being left-pawed, while the younger dog is right-pawed? Also, which way does each of them bat? Art critics will want to know! Love, G’pa

Hello Charlie —- I really like your “neurographic art” creation; so filled with vivid color and the setting sun image. I confess that I had to look up the definition of “neurographic art”. According to Google, it’s “an intuitive form of art that involves mindfulness and intentionality”. That’s pretty deep psychology, don’t you think? But, your creation seems to fit the definition. Well done! Love, G’pa

I love the colors! I think we should go visit this place!!
Posted 1 year ago by Aunt Chelle
Once again, a great job. It's not just a simple sunset/sunrise, but a gallery of colors that wouldn't normally be seen. The water, the mountains and the sky, all very colorful and beautiful. A masterpiece.

I don't know why, but when I saw this drawing, I felt very patriotic and went to join the army. Unfortunately, they told me I was too old. Just kidding. I don't know if you meant it to be that way, but that's how I felt. I also love the way it looks like it goes on forever. Great job. You're getting to be quite the artist.

I love this picture. It seems very patriotic. It reminds me of our trip to Fort McHenry.

Love the latest drawing. It looks like the people that live in that cabin are getting ready for a long, cold night. The mountains seem ominous, but I'm sure once spring rolls around it might actually be quite nice. Good Joab.

Hello Charlotte —- I like your newest drawing “creation”. Very colorful and detailed. Also, it’s an appropriate harbinger for Spring, which I’m sure will be coming along sometime soon. BTW, I’m pretty sure I went to high school with Romero Britto’s brother Tony. Tony wasn’t an artist, but he was a pretty good baseball player. Love, G’pa

Hello Charlotte —- I think I recognize the subject of your artwork. Isn’t that Snowie the Snow Gnome? I saw him frequently in the back yard before Christmas, but not recently. Wonder where he went. Maybe he’s gone further UpNorth. However, we still have your drawing to remember him by. Love, G’pa

Hey Sweetie, Once again, you've done a terrific job. I feel like I'm sitting across the street looking at Mary & Joseph, and of course the Baby Jesus. It's true, the guy next door looks a little creepy. But it looks like there's somebody two doors down also. It must be a bad neighborhood, because there were no rooms at any of the inns in town, but you knew that. Anyway, keep up the great work and remember that I love you.
Posted 4 years ago by Michael
I love your latest picture. Such a nice use of colors. Love you.
Posted 4 years ago by Grandma
Hello Charlotte --- I like your Christmas art! Very conceptually unique. Mary and Joseph look quite happy (and thin). Maybe they're happy because Jesus appears to be sleeping (finally!). Also, your Christmas star is properly "shiny and bright". Two questions: 1) Who or what is that hiding in the stable building just to the right in the picture? 2) Why are they hiding? Keep on being creative! Love, G'pa

Hello Charlotte --- Congratulations on re-entering the Artsonia creative "space". I really like your new artwork -- colorful but also calming. What's the title? What was your objective for the work? Anyway -- very, very nice! Love, G'pa
Posted 4 years ago by Grandpa Jim
Charlotte your picture is beautiful ??. I love all of your colors!
Posted 4 years ago by Grandma
Hello Charlotte --- I like your "nature" Snow Owl art work. I once was "in the vicinity" of a live Snow Owl in very-far-from-snow Lawrence. Many bird-watcher cars were lined up on the road to the Mutt Run dog park to get a binocular glimpse of the owl perched in a tree (the owl was intelligent enough to not actually be in the dog park). I wasn't able to get close enough see the owl, because Jay and Rosie would have scared it off, in which case the birders would have attacked me! [Who would have blamed them?] So, I'm happy to see your vision of a Snow Owl, with those very prominent eyes. Well done! Love, G'pa

Charlotte, This is so awesome! We love your artwork - wouldn't it be cool if you could grow ice cream?! The middle row looks like ice cream cones. :) We love you! Aunt Ash and Uncle Jay

Hi Charlotte, this is quite a drawing. I feel like this is the longest row of crops on the farm. I'm glad I'm not a farmer. Keep up the good work. Love Grandpa Mike.
Posted 5 years ago by Grandpa Mike
Hello Charlotte --- I like your new art work! Very creative! Some questions: 1) Is that a Kansas or Minnesota farm you're depicting? 2) Am I right that the two "outside" rows are showing loaves and fishes? 3) What is the middle row showing? I see a symbol that looks like the McDonald's "golden arches". Was your intent to add a contemporary symbol to a Biblical story? Then again, probably not! See you soon. Love, G'pa

Such a cute snowman! I love his scarf!!
Posted 5 years ago by Aunt Chelle
Hello Charlotte --- I like your colorful and proportionally oriented creation. By "proportional", I mean that the snowman's mouth, eyes and carrot-nose are correctly aligned, as is the scarf, plus properly sized head and shoulders. Good job! Also well-timed, since we're going to get a serious snow storm tonight. Snowman building tomorrow? Love, G'pa

Hello Charlotte --- I like you new "creature". Very creative. What is your creature's name? What's is its (he? or she?) back story? Born in Minnesota? From another planet? If "yes", how did it get here? Has PBS or Disney approached you yet do develop a kid-cartoon series based on the creature and its family? Lots of questions! Let's talk when I get back to SLP. Keep up the good (and creative) work. Love Gpa

Hello Charlotte --- Well, I have to say that you've done well by Mr. Mondrian. He's famous, you know. That means I've heard of him! Your art is outstanding in concept and use of color. Looking forward to more to come. Love, G'pa Jim P.S. I think I'm already a member of your Charlotte 8712 fan club. Very cool name.
