Hi Maddie, this is a cool picture. I love the colors. The tall building with all the windows reminds me of Chicago. Is that a billboard like in Vegas? I like the building that reminds me of the space needle or a rotating restaurant. I love your artwork and I love you too.

Maddie, this very colorful view of a city is wonderful! It reminds me of Seattle, Washington, because they have a “space needle” like the one you have drawn in the right side of your picture. And it looks like you are looking out the window of a red skyscraper. Great colors. I can’t wait to see you so you can explain this to me. Love, Gigi

Maddie- this is a beautiful example of radial design. When I first opened it, I thought it was a circular rug woven in beautiful colors. The colors you have chosen go so well together. I’m very proud of the work you do, Maddie but more than that, I’m so very proud of you! Love, Gigi

I love your blue pinch pot. I think it matches my living room.
Posted 3 years ago by Gaga
Maddie, this “pinch pot” is so cool. I can see the pinch marks which are your own unique design. The colors are also neat! You could use this for some jewelry on your dresser. Always great work, Maddie! Love, Gigi

I really like this one, Maddie. What beautiful colors and so neatly done.

Maddie, this one-point-perspective drawing is amazing! I love how you have made each colored shape literally vanish into the center of your piece! I also like how the sections seem to be connected at the base. You have created an excellent example of 1 Point Perspective Drawing? Maddie, I am very proud of you! Love, Gigi

I was certain I posted a comment on your bridge picture. It was around the time we went to The Monet exhibit. There were bridges in one room at the exhibit and your picture looks just like those bridges. The colors you have used in this picture remind me of colors and a method Monet would have used to depict a creek and bridge and grassy area. You have done an excellent job, Maddie. I love you!

What a colorful picture, Maddie. This ornament or color wheel you have made is so special. I love the way it’s hanging on the Christmas tree and the tree branches are so detailed!! I can picture the sun hitting your tree and ornament and those colors would shine throughout the room. You do such great work, Maddie. Thank you for sharing it!

Little Fish! I love your color wheel! It looks like a Christmas ornament hanging from a pine tree. Awesome job!

Maddie; your Star is so beautiful and unique! I love how the colors blend. Seems this star would go nicely in your “re-designed” bedroom. Great work, Maddie!

A Snow Globe, Maddie- so very cool! And you wanted a snow globe for Christmas! This snow globe you have created is so very colorful! You can see the large snowflakes falling lightly over the little town you have created! I love the hanger with colorful beads. Great work, Maddie. I am so proud of you. Love Gigi

I love the colors on this picture and your stars are perfect. Well done, Maddie

Dear Maddie; I really love this picture and the straight and tall birch trees. Birch trees look just like the ones you have drawn. Between the trees I think I see a moon and of course stars. The circles around the moon make me think the moon is almost full, and getting very bright. What nice colors you have used in this drawing- and it’s perfectly framed on dark brown paper. Another cool piece of work, Maddie! Very nice! Love Gigi

I love this picture. It’s what I’ve been looking for for my living room, but it would have to be at least 6 feet long. I think maybe all you kids could work on it. It would be so cool
Posted 4 years ago by Gaga
WOW Maddie- this is so cool!! I remember making a piece like this when I was in grammar school! This was a lot of work, as I remember. Your scratch art has lots of designs and colors. One section reminds me of underwater, one reminds me of ladders and the third reminds me of matching problems. I’m sure everyone could see something different. I really like yours. Keep up your great art! Love you! Gigi

Maddie - is this a small sailboat with a scoop of cherry topping in your boat? You are steering the sailboat and taking small bites of the cherry syrup from around the pile. And do I see Will sitting below that big pile of cherries? This is quite an interesting piece of art work and with all those cherries, I wish I was in that boat with you and Will! Great work. I love the dark colors and your surroundings, divided into purple and red are very intriguing. I am not going to tackle the blue at the top nor the pants leg. That’s for another conversation work! You are a surprising artist, Maddie. Keep it up!

Maddie this is so different and so interesting with the lines and light coloring. I like how you have straight lines at the top and then curvy, almost jerky lines in the middle. Then the bottom is very wavy with some smooth lines. So unique. You have very creative art with movement and color. Very cool - just like you are Maddie, very cool! Gigi

Hi Maddie. I just viewed the self portrait of you swimming. Then I looked up David Hockney’s work. He’s the artist you studied to do your self portrait. You did such a good job following his method of creating art. I’m so impressed with your depiction of the water - it’s so similar to the artist, David Hockney. There are many things about your self portrait that mirror Hockney’s. And your descriptive facial features and swimming simulation made me think you were really swimming in a pool. And you had giggles on! So Cool! I love your work. Live Gigi Luigi

Dear Maddie - this is a really cool fish. I used to fish a lot with my Dad and we never caught any fish as unique as this one. But if I did catch a fish as cool as this one I would have to throw him back so he could grow bigger and bigger! A lot of your work has lines and sections of different designs. So neat!! You do awesome work. Keep that creative brain working!! Love you! Gigi

Oh, wow! What a beautiful fish. I love the colors you chose and the lines on the fins. I would love to see this fish when I'm swimming-unless he has teeth.

Hi Maddie. I was looking at all your art on Artsonia today and saw some things you made with no comments. This picture was made when you were in first grade. As I look at it it reminds me of a puppy all curled up on a red rug. The puppy is tired,I think from running with you and Will during their regular walk. The puppy’s face is on the left and the rug has blue dots and a white line on it. Show it to Will and see if he sees the puppy too!I love you both! Gigi

Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, Maddie, you’ve made “Shattered Shamrocks”! So Cool. And with the lines between the shamrock pieces you have made stained glass. Your bold colors are amazing and make this piece stand out! How do you think if these creative pieces! I am so proud of you!!! Love, Gigi

Whoa Maddie! This piece of art is amazing. I had to look at it for a few minutes to see everything that was emphasized by the primary colors you used. The thing that stood out the most was the apple and how the light hitting the apple was reflected. The other fruit in your bowl (like the strawberries) had similar reflection only smaller. The artwork is bold and has a presence that makes me want to look at it longer to see all parts of your work. Nice job, Maddie. I love this one. Gigi

Dear Maddie, I love this heart and you and your classmates designed your heart after another artist style, Romero Britto. That’s amazing! Your Art Teacher is teaching you so many different styles of art and all your work is like the artists you are copying. Keep up the great work!!! Love Gigi

Oh Maddie! I love this bowl. It is so unique and the colors are bold and pretty together. It sounds like an interesting project, to create a bowl that would hold water out of coils of clay. You did a fantastic job. Love, Gigi

Oh Maddie; the minute I looked at this picture you drew I knew it was a bubble gum machine. Your Dad and Auntie Gega had one when they were growing up. It’s fun to get gum from a bubble gum machine because you don’t know what color you will get. It was fun. You did a great job on this gum machine. I’m proud of you! Live Gigi

Hi Maddie, this little guy reminds me of the picture of Nible and Nut that you drew at our house the last time you were there. This little guy is as cute as Nible and Nut are. We should give this guy a name to go with the other two. I imagine all three would’ve great friends. Good work, Maddie. Love, Gigi

Dear Maddie; it’s so great to see more of your artwork. I love seeing the different designs you create - they are each so intriguing (we’ll have to look up that word). This piece of art reminds me of lots and lots of apples. There are so many different kinds of apples in the world - each with their own unique flavor. I wish we could go to an apple orchard that had many different kinds of apple trees and we could pick and taste them all. Your art also reminds me of how you could make a picture just by putting in little colored dots. How neat would that be? In the meantime I think I will dream about picking apples with you and Will and tasting them all. We’ll probably taste so many apples we’ll get tummy aches! I miss you very much! Love, Gigi

This one looks like so many different kinds of apples. There are so many different ones in the world and they all have their own flavor. Can you imagine if we had lots of different kinds of apple trees and we could pick apples from them whenever we wanted? Keep up your hard work. Enjoy your art. Work hard at school. You must be having so much fun!! I love you. Gigi I am excited about your art

Maddie, this is a really interesting drawing. How did you do that with just string? How did you make the two sides look alike? I can't wait to see you so that you can tell me all about. Love you, Gaga

We love your string art, Maddie! It looks like two people dancing! The colors look so good together. Keep up the great work! Uncle Titi and I love seeing your artwork! Love Auntie Gega

Maddie, what a neat design! How did you get it to look the same (symmetrical) on both sides of the paper? I had no idea you could do this with string. And the colors are so beautiful. You will have to show me how you did this. I am SO proud of you!! Love, Gigi
