You did a great job of showing perspective in your drawing. Was adding that figure your idea? I love the way it gives the picture a futuristic feel.

Beautiful! I love that you chose the female cardinal to draw, with her subtle shades of red, tan green, and brown. We have a pair that stay by our house year-round. I can hear the silence of a winter snowfall in your picture.

Your triple print reminds me of the buildings, old and new, that we saw on our trip to Italy and Greece….all stacked up on the mountain hillsides. The background colors that you chose make it look like dusk. What was your printing block made of? I love printmaking, don’t you? Mimi

Ainsley- I’ll bet you were a whiz at weaving because of the practice you had with the loom that we gave you for Christmas last year. Your “doll” was super cute and I especially liked the background that you drew for it. Mimi

I like the way you repeated shapes in the cut-out to make the stained glass framework. Also, the colors of tissue paper that you chose go together well.

Ainsley- It looks like you made a drawing of an Egyptian king. You should send a picture of it to Nolan. He loves reading about mummes, tombs, pyramids, and everything.
