Alayna, this piece is so expressive and the composition is great. It speaks to your feelings and has deep meaning.

I like the composition of this work - the colors are particularly well suited to the music of MCR (which I can almost hear just by looking at this). The juxtaposition of text and images is engaging and provides an intimate view into your relationship with the music and the band.

Logan is just so... Logan. You really captured his purrsonality!

I absolutely love this, Alayna. I can't offer artistic critiques, but this really just instinctively appeals to me.

I think this is much better than you realize Alayna! Up close, it is apparent how MANY colors and strokes you put into this!!! But these Georgia O'Keefe type extreme close up works need to be viewed from a distance in order to properly SEE the subject. Open this file on a good sized monitor and stand back at least 10-15 feet. It looks like a much different work and it is beautiful. I definitely give it a thumbs up!! Keep up the good work.

I know you weren’t totally happy with this, but self-portraits are really challenging! I’m sure you learned a lot from this project, and it does look like you! I will have to show you one I did in HS - I had trouble with it too. You did a nice job on the shading and the background gradient.

This looks SO difficult! The shading looks immensely difficult. I do recognize you but you do look a little scary :)

I know this is an older one, but one of my all time favorites. The tree is amazing!! And I love the birds, the wide variety of colors and the way the colors are combined. Love it!!
