Papa and I just love your latest work of art--the colors are vibrant and cheerful and orange triangle and green rectangles of the scarf are a wonder contrast to the softer round shapes of the head and body. You have a lovely sense of balance and design. We are as always so proud of you and love you so much.

I love this image! This lady’s sweetness is shown so effectively by her expression and the bugs she is pointing to. It begs the question—why is she pointing at the pictures of bugs and butterflies Her fingers could be the piece sign or just pointing at the little pictures. We’re not sure, so the piece tells a sort of a story. Nice use of blue and black lines in the background with a brown floor adjoining. Nice work—your talent shines through more with each drawing!

Amelia, Papa and I really like your latest work of art. The use of the newspaper for tree trunks is brilliant. The contrast of the gray sky and the white snow, along with the red cardinals is very eye-catching. It has a very warm and friendly feeling that makes it a special piece of work. Well done!

Papa and I LOVED this piece of art that you created. It is reminiscent of the art of Hokusai’s Great Wave off Kanagawa. It’s both clean and simple as well as complex- a very mature concept for artists in 2nd grade. Again, Love, Love, Love it!!!

This is one of my very favorite pieces. I have it framed and hung up next to similar paintings done by Harry and Oliver when they were in kindergarten at Lakeside. Mondrian, the artist who painted many pictures like this, would be so happy to know you have painted a picture like his.

This snowman is so realistic! I hope we get enough snow in Texas this year to make one just like this!
