Love this picture because of the dimension you give you the fruits/vegetables by using lights and darks. Also, it is clear that some of the items are placed in front of others!

I love the way your large patches of color are made up of many, many str!kes. It makes your people stand out in the foreground as the focus of your picture. NICE!

I love this because the technique is such as old one and it worked out so well for your picture. That background peeking through is soooo good!

A really great job here, Cora. The needles on the cactus are well-drawn and the flowers are just perfect. I have two cactuses at home that look like that!
Posted 5 years ago by Papa
Did you tear colored paper and glue it on the light blue sheet? Looks like a new technique of yours. The colors really pop out!
Posted 5 years ago by Papa
This is so interesting how you keep the shapes, yet change the colors when there is an overlap of the "6" with the background. Cool!

This is a favorite of mine -- the snakes, cactus, desert flowers and the yellows, oranges, and reds that make it feel like a desert location somewhere in the west of our country. Really nice!

This picure is outstanding -- the waves and green mountains against a beautiful sky. Wonderful job!

You used a different technique -- a different way to apply this paint. You will have to explain it to me. It looks GREAT!

Cora: You are learning so much about art. Looking at something and being able to see it and draw or paint it to show another way that you can look at it is a very special lesson to learn. Great job.

What an excellent drawing. The different colors used for the branches make the tree look very realistic, yet the nativity scene stands out beautifully with just enough detail to tell us what it is referring to. Love the colors, especially the background. It makes your drawing "pop"!

Very interestingq! It is hard NOT to look at it and think about what it might represent. I see all sorts of things!

Cora! I love this. It does so much honor to kitties everywhere. Google “Andy Warhol” and find some of his art where he examines a thing or person in 4 different ways just as you do! XOde

Cora! This picture is outstanding! It is fantastic! It shows that you understand how water can reflect -- sort of like a mirror -- and you have reenable to show that through your painting. I love this.

Oh, Cora! I love the blossoms on these flowers. You have used combinations of colors that tie each flower "depth" and special beauty. By "depth" I mean that they look more real, not flat like a painting. Yay1

Beautifully done. The colors are "striking"!

This drawing of yours is just great! What I like is the way your drew the man and woman: They look real and are not just people drawn like sticks. The expressions on their faces are not only real-looking, but they are looking at one another as the gift is being given by the man to the woman. Lastly, I love the woman's dress -- the colors of Christmas. Great job!
