Oh, JJ,I loved this one! You really got the food to look like the red bird and the pigs in the game! The cole slaw was a nice touch---really looks like the game wreckage! Clever!

JJ, We love your originality shown in your art methods and subjects. This time, it was fun to see the humor that you interjected with your title and subject matter as well as how it related to current events. Keep up the great work! Mema and Bobo

Uncle John loves Oldenburg too. The calculator is really neat. How did you ever figure out what to use to make it. We think you will be a famous artist when you grow up. Keep up the good work. Hugs. Pammy

JJ this looks like our house. Very important things to keep near. Great picture. What do you call it? "2020 Plague Essentials" might be a good title.

JJ, Bobo and I get so much pleasure seeing your art gallery! You are very creative in your subject matter and your use of design elements. We like the wavy edges of your container that continue your beach theme. We hope that you will continue to enjoy your talent in art. Mema

Nice job, JJ! I would have never thought about using a box top for the base of this sculpture, and love the animals you included. Reminds me of our beloved AnnaMaria Island! Good work!

JJ, I really like being a part of your Artsonia art gallery online. And I love your Florida beach sculpture here. Everything in your sculpture reminds me of a fun day at the beach: sand, shells, palm tree, baby turtle, etc, etc. I especially like the shark way out in the deep water. Way cool. Very high quality art work too. You really took your time to make a nice solid sculpture. The colors are bright, everything pops! I love it! :)

Your art really reflects the thoughts you had about the beach. The colors and the water’s edge makes it a peaceful island, the the pure sand and shells make it look like a place where people don’t land on it and clutter it up. It looks like your turtle can lay its eggs without worrying about them.

JJ The art work is wonderful. Makes me miss the beach and you of course. Watch you mail box because I sent you some of my art work--not nearly as good as yours, but very practical. Love you lots.

I really like this piece JJ. It has texture and a very natural look. I also like the way you caught the light in the background.

JJ, In your painting, I like the way you use darks and lights to give the leaf definition and dimension. The shape looks like it bends and turns because of your good use of these elements. Very well done! Mema

That is a very interesting object for a photograph . The shadow makes it an action photograph. Its like something is about to change, like th bulb might break up and roots would reach to the ground or maybe a small bug lives there? The shadow gives me lots of different things to think about when I see this picture.

Nice work, JJ! It’s good that you are branching out to photography, too. I like your explanation of what you are learning about light and shadow and backgrounds. Well done! Mema & Bobo

Love the Eagle and the "electric look" you created for him. I also learned a lot about surrealism from reading your explanation. Nice work!

This is a wonderful use of color and materiel to create an impression of the juice, the pulp, the smell, feel and even the age of the subject. That is great instinct.

This was wonderful surrealism and the source of the idea, the Native American thunderbird, is very creative. The Electric Bird is “shocking” too. I love this piece of art.

I love this piece of work. Mysterious, simple and colorful. There could be at least three stories behind this drawing. That is creativity.

LOVE this one. I love how you drew Santa and the reindeer especially. The details are great (like Santa’s lantern!) and you did a great job showing texture. Nice work!
