I love the choice of colors - they all go together - I love the variety of buildings you’d find in a town or city, and I love the three-dimensional texture of your artwork. I hope when we see you this weekend that you can tell me all about what sort of instruction you were given, how long you had to work on it, and even why you chose McDonald’s, a church (love, love “Church” and “and Jesus”!), and a flower store. Hi, Miles. I thought I had already commented on your owl picture, but maybe not. I LOVE your owl!! It looks so real that I can almost the orange feathers around the face! The face on the owl makes it look a little angry…..did you mean to do that? From kindergarten on, Miles, we have enjoyed seeing your artistic skills grow. As we’ve said before in our comments, it’s obvious that your art teacher is very good at teaching you art, and you’re very good at listening and trying your best. Nobody can ask anything more of you. You nailed it, Miles!!! The picture you made looks EXACTLY like a cardinal! Maybe you remember Gary Sherman, down at the end of our street??? His wife, Ruthe, LOVES cardinals....wait until I show her your picture. She'll be impressed, too! I also noticed that you have just a couple of leaves left on the branches which is exactly how trees look this time of year. It's obvious that you listen carefully to your art teacher, and really concentrate on doing your best work. Keep up the great work, Miles.
