I like the red water color. It is a good combination of a bit of orange red and some rose. I know very little about art but I find it interesting that you decided not to draw your right eye, nose and mouth....

Love this Picasso-like abstract face! Your analogous with a complementary color scheme looks so good on the dark paper. Aunt Sandra guessed you might have fire coming out of your nose, but hopefully you didn’t get punched in the nose. The confusion in your face makes me wonder!

Alex, this watercolor landscape is beautiful! I love how you used cool colors for the land and warm colors for the sky. Your black contour lines define the land forms and layers of the atmosphere so creatively. I would love to have a piece of your artwork hanging in my home!

Alex, while you say you didn’t finish, I would have never known! The way your background offsets the figure, creates an illusion of movement. The composition is asymmetrical and very eye catching. The big green square brings attention to your head and your moving arms and legs lure my attention throughout your artwork. The empty blue space at the bottom and right side balance nicely with the big green square. You should be very happy with this artwork!

Alex, I like the colors of the leaves that you used to show various shades of fall: yellow, orange, red... I also like that the roots of the leaves can be seen as branches with leaves if you turn the picture upside down. It is very creative. Also, the sky looks very realistic because it has darker and lighter shades with green and blue mixed together. :)
