I always enjoy looking at your art work. I can only hope our visit to New York this summer inspired you. We saw so many interesting pieces at the MET(Metropolitan museum of art). Keep up the good work!

A nice mysterious, strangeness captured with only one color and the value element. Nice transition from the upper left quadrant to the bottom right.

You are learning how to see through to the personality of the person, Sweetheart. And the primary color scheme makes it exciting. Clyde

A good lesson in one point linear perspective. Hope your teacher explain aerial perspective to you guys too. And, it looks like Autumn. Clyde

Great job on drawing your name, liked all the stars around it!

A quantum leap Sweetheart. Such sensitivity and (interior) self awareness speaks of an advanced stage of artistic and mental growth. I especially love the empty-negative space surrounding the hair, which becomes active and positive; generating a life force of its own. Clyde

Alannah Dear, You and your fellow artists should look up Meret Oppenheim's "Fur-Line Cup" and Judy Chicago's "The Dinner Party" (has over tones of this piece). Looks delicious! Clyde

Such a variety and diverse group of Medium & Approaches to the same subject. "What a good teacher and young artist!" Clyde

A great progressive art teacher who informs the students about gradations of tone and value. A composition can be depicted artistically in a monochromatic/one color scheme. "Untitled Sounds About Right." Clyde

A nice wintry scene. Particularly note worthy for a young person who lives in Dayton Ohio. The trees have personalities and are like human figures. Tell your Dad or Art teacher to explain the big word of anthropomorphic. Clyde

Feels like a Halloween night to me. Wonderful feel for perspective, and I just love the trees. Is the white circle in the upper right quadrant part of the tree or a ferris wheel? "Keep up the good work." Clyde

Alannah, looks like you are drawing some of the fun things you did this summer. Wow, you drew some high heights, hope your stomach had fun too! Love you!

Reminds me of The Cyclone at Coney Island (that first drop). She must have had an experience at some amusement park. A few old woodies are still around, and can scare your pants off. Noah

What a wonderful composition. The play on perspective. The vivid powerful feelings and clear images, and even an awareness of the funky shadow.

Combines running, jumping, hurdling, and the cosmos. A very inventive way to capture movement and action.

"Nice color & geometry. Repeat your colors two or three times to set-up a rhythmic flow for the eye of the spectator."
