Quite a nice touch. We used to do a similar technique with crayons. Oil pastels create a much better picture.

This is pretty neat! Jonathan just started memorizing Psalm 23 yesterday in school. When I showed him this, her thought it was pretty awesome that you had written it out in English and Spanish! I love all the details of this picture! A cozy little cabin with lights hung and Christmas tree on the porch. It makes me want to visit and make s’mores by the fire! I love the rolling hills and the snowman waving with his fancy top hat. Great job Jarod! You’re a real artist!
