Pretty cute pup. Do you think Tally would like playing with it as much as she does with Sable?

We loved reading your artist description about how you made this piece of artwork. Of course, you know that Nana is pretty handy with a needle in sewing machine, so the result of this assignment warmed her heart. Granddad thinks it’s pretty cool too. Keep creating, Mikaya.

It was fun to see that you learned this in art class and made a bunch at home, too. Is yellow your new favorite color? This reminds me that daffodils will be blossoming in a little over a month.

Mikaya, this realistic and whimsical fox makes us smile. Reading about the techniques you used for fox, sweater and background helped us see the details you used to make this a work of art. Favorite part? His shiny black nose and eyes with the white added added makes them realistic and a bit like a stuffed animal a child would like to receive. Well done!

Mikaya, did you know that the shortest distance between 2 points is a straight line. It looks like you have been to the mountains. :)
Posted 5 years ago by Granddad
Granddad loves lines since they are a big part of math -- especially geometry. When I first used a sewing machine, my mother had me practice sewing on lined notebook paper.

Great! Looks like the sun to me with the rays going in all directions. May I send it in to CBS Sunday Morning for their program? They feature many artists' creations of different suns.
