Outstanding Splatoon character. I like the color combination.

Very unique. I'm anxious to hear more about it next time I see you.

That cute girl, she's a real Pearl. Just as in Splatoon, her hair is cream-colored and her eye color is light gold. I really dig her platinum gold crown and large chunky chain with a large circle and four pointed star charm. You can tell she's somewhat tomboyish and sassy, as well as somewhat cheeky.

I LOVE this sculpture! I’ve seen the original when I lived in Indiana. It is huge! You did a great job sculpting yours. Nicely done.

I love the color and shading in this piece of artwork. It almost looks so real I could reach out and grab it. Nicely done!

This piece reminds me of one of my favorite Halloween books, “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.” I really like it!

Outstanding drawing of the White House where the President lives. I wish I could draw like you, but I just don't have the talent. Keep up the good work. I really enjoy all of your artwork. Papa

Very nice, Oliver. I don't think Jeff Koons could have done better. I would like a dog, even if it's a balloon dog. Grandma won't let me have any kind of a dog, however. Papa

I have imagined this scene in my mind as I visuallized a bright orange sun that peaks out above the four-sided pyramid built for Pharohs against a background of dark blue, cloudy skies. Huge stone rectangular blocks, set in perfect alignment, have allowed the structure to survive many centuries in the rolling sand dunes of ancient Egypt. I wonder how you so perfectly drew that which exists in my mind's eye. Hmmm. Papa

Love the blue octopus. I imagined the round globe at the top of the drawing as Earth with blue continents floating in a white ocean, but I don't think this is correct. Papa

Oliver, Is this a beatiful flower bouquet for your Mother? Papa

Oliver, I had a difficult time figuring out your painting because I didn't know what rainbow cats were. So, I googled it and found all sorts of information about them. Now I know what your painting is! Great job. Papa

Oliver, This drawing is a real mindblower. When I look at it, I feel like I'm way up in the air looking down at the middle of a four leaf clover. It kind of makes me dizzzy. However, if I look at the drawing differently I see something else, but I can't keep it in focus. This is really cool.

What a great Lego house. I wonder who lives there? Is there something or someone at the door or inside the hallway? I can't quite make it out because it doesn't show up well on my computer screen. Could it be a bee? Or something from Mario Bros.? Love, Papa

Here comes Peter Cottontail Hopping down the bunny trail Hippity-hoppity and a badge of Mario, too. He's got jellybeans for Ollie Colored eggs for sister Morgan There's an orchid for your mommy And a hug for Daddy, too.

Ha, is that a frog on the panda bear's head? Very funny. I see that your artist signature is located in the upper left-hand corner of the picture. I wonder if this has a mysterious meaning? Hmmm. It looks like the panda bear is peaking over a branch among the leaves. Is it a bamboo tree? Love, Papa

Oliver, your fish bowl is really cool. I think maybe you have seen those animals in the water when you visited the ocean. Not sure about Mario, though. Ha ha.

Nice hair, dude. I've seen someone with blue hair not too long ago. Hmmm? Come to think of it, it was you! This guy kind of looks like you too. Pretty good self-portrait. l see that Mario is printed on the t-shirt, but I'm not sure if the other word is Toad or Taod? You'll have to let me know. It's a great drawing.

Oh my gosh, Oliver. One of those googly birds chased me around the block and almost caught me. Grandma noticed it peaking through our front window at night and she nearly fainted. Maybe you should attach a leash to it when you're walking it outdoors. Love, Papa

Oliver, I like your mask for Dia de los Muertos, which means Day of the Dead. Pretty scary. I hope I don't see it on Halloween night or in my nightmares. Love, Papa

Oliver, What a great lighthouse! I like the waves crashing against the rocks and the many birds flying around. I see that it has very powerful lights at the top (turret?) so that boats are warned in the night not to come too close to shore. If the lighthouse is in Florida, I hope it wasn't damaged by Hurricane Ian; but, the lighthouse looks like it was built really strong, so I'm sure it's okay. I really like this picture. You did an excellent job. Papa S.

Hi Oliver, Nice job on the cutouts. I recognize Mario as the cutout on the left side, but I'm not sure who the others are. As you know, I'm not very good at knowing the characters in Mario games. Love, Papa

Is that a racoon or squirrel tail I see? Also, I think I see an acorn. Very interesting drawing. Is he a Mario robot?

Oh my gosh, Oliver! What kind of creature is the knight fighting? Very scary. Also, what are the little guys? Are they with the creature or did the creature grab them from somewhere? I hope the knight has a sharp sword, or even better, a light saber. Papa

It looks like the lion is really freaking out about the bee (?) on his nose. Is he afraid of being stung? I would be. I can't tell for sure, but is that a Mario hat he's wearing? It really cracks me up if it is. Great picture, Oliver.

Nice job, Oliver. The eight-legged spider and the circular web pattern are perfectly drawn.

Run! Everybody, run! There's a creepy hand rising from the ground in the pumpkin patch. It reminds me of the ghouls coming out of the ground in Michael Jackson's Thriller. A-HA-HA-HA-HA.

Oliver, What a happy crayon! I'm not sure whether it is jumping for joy or doing jumping jacks!
Posted 4 years ago by Papa
Oliver, I think this is your finest painting yet. You added many things that make it special in addition to the rainbows, such as the grumpy face of the rain cloud, the awning above the door, the birds and the suet feeder, and the hot smiling sun. Well done!

Oliver, I wonder what that pig is looking at? I love your choice of colors.

Oliver, Thank goodness the bad storm is finally going away because a beautiful rainbow has appeared. A rainbow is a sign of hope and you have included all the amazing colors. Is that a pot of gold that I see??? Papa

Oliver, What kind of shark is that? It looks like a Great White shark to me; like the one in the movie "Jaws". Did you ever hear the expression: "Looks like we're gonna need a bigger boat"? Ha-ha. Those teeth look very, very sharp. Papa

Oliver, I love your picture, especially the huge sun shining in the distance above the ocean. I enjoyed seeing photos of your sand castles that you made on the beach when you visited Florida. Is that a bird fluttering its wings above the castles? I wasn't sure. Papa

Hi Oliver, What a nice heart bear. I noticed the bear's eyes are looking sideways instead of straight ahead. Who is the heart bear looking at? Anyone I know. Who is the valentine for?

Oliver, I'll bet that frog has a smile on his face because he's about to eat a delicious snack after he zaps that bug with his long tongue. Yum, yum!

Oliver, When I first looked at your polar bear I was kind of scared because it looks so real. But then I noticed that it was smiling, so I wasn't scared anymore. You are such a great artist. Love, Papa

Fall is my favorite time of the year when the leaves change colors. I like that your leaves are falling to the ground. Do you like the sound they make when you step on them? Your tree looks familiar. Do I spy your hand and arm? Nice work Oliver!
