Beautiful soft shading! It has a romantic 1940's lighting feel. Like something you'd see in an old Hollywood movie. xx

What a fun subject to draw. Keys are such a fabulous metaphor for manifestation. What do you want to unlock? ?

Hi Marsali, There's something so soft and simple yet so strong about graphite drawings that I've always loved. This piece gives me a feeling of an early morning rainy day, yet there is warmth and comfort in delicious fruit that is ready and waiting to be eat as well. <3 Auntie B

Marsali, you did an excellent job on your Hemeji Castle! I love all the details you used. It must have taken a long time to draw the stone wall foundation - all those little stones! The trees and the sky are nice touches, too! Excellent work!

Oh, Marsali, I love your Starry Night! Your technique is excellent! The painting by Vincent Van Gogh is my favorite painting in the whole world. I once saw it at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. It's much smaller than I thought! Grampy and I also visited the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, Holland, and saw lots of paintings by Van Gogh. It was awesome! I hope you get to go there some day!
