Easton, this looks like the skeleton of a snake! It reminds me of ancient art. It also reminds me of some of the kites they fly here on the beach. So fun!

Easton! What a beautiful flower! I teach my students about Georgia O'Keeffe. She loved to paint flowers just like this! I love the blue background. It makes the flower look like it's blooming under a warm summer sky.

Easton, this is so cool! I love the patterns and designs you used. This reminds me of a tapa cloth from New Zealand. The natives there would make fabric from the barks of trees and then paint patterns on it. How fun!

What a BIG pumpkin! I like how you made the lines to show the sections of the pumpkin. I also love the blue and orange and green together. They make a very pleasing color combination. This makes me want some pumpkin cookies!

E! What a beautiful heart! It reminds me of one of my favorite artists, Wassily Kandinsky. He loved to use shapes in crazy ways. I love all of your crazy lines and the valentine pieces. It makes me want to do a puzzle. Maybe we can do one together!

Easton! What a cute snowman! It makes me miss the snow in Utah. I love the blue background with the orange hat. Those are opposite, or complimentary colors on the color wheel and it is very artistic to use them together in artwork. That happy face reminds me of your happy smile that I miss so much!

Easton - I LOVE your tree! I love the different shapes in your tree. It reminds me of some of the artists I teach about. Pablo Picasso and Pete Mondrian. Now I can say Easton Gale is a cubist artist too! I also love the colors you chose. What an artist you are!

Easton, I love your leaves! It actually looks like a painting that one of my students is doing! She would say, "Hey, he copied me!" :P I love the bright colors, especially the cool colors of the leaves against the warm blue background. What a great job you did!

Easton, I'm a little bit scared of this monster! Look at those giant eyes!! I do love the spots all over him. I also like the blue and orange color combination. I'm glad I don't have to meet him in the dark!

Easton! What a cute caterpillar!! He makes me want spring to come really soon. I love how you mixed primary colors to makes secondary colors. Some of my college students don't know how to do that! Eaton, I lOVE you chalk landscape! The mountains and water remind me of Oregon. We live where the mountains meet the sea and it looks like that is what you drew! I also love the stormy sky. You did a great job!
