You are now learning about turtles. There are so many different kinds of turtles. I loved to work with clay and hope you had fun using it. It's lots of fun using your hands to make things. Good work, Holden. Keep it up.

The penguin is terrific, Holden. Penguins are so interesting and there are many kinds of penguins from little ones to the big, black and white penguins in Antartica. There are movies about penguins, Have you watched any of them? Keep up the really good art work, Holden.

I LOVE your Halloween pumpkin, Holden. This is my favorite holiday. When I taught first grade I had an electric broom in the corner of my classroom that I told the kids I would ride across the bright moon on Halloween. Of course that was a tease because the electric cord would never reach far enough. Some parents told me their child would try to stay awake to watch for me but they would go to sleep before they could even see the moon. Maybe your teacher has an electric broom that works and has a very, very long cord. Sending love,
