I like the way you arranged the sun an planets in this picture, separate but connected in space. The density of the black background representing the vastness of space and the positioning of the planets all add depth. I like the light emanating from the sun and lighting up just part of the planets. I love the stars. The way you placed them also adds depth and perspective. Again wonderful use of color.

Fabulous op -art, I can feel the folds billowing out and at the same time I am I am being sucked into this picture. So dynamic!

Hi Amit, I really like this painting. It is hard to paint a segment of a fruit cut in cross section and you were able to achieve depth and perspective even on a close- up view. The way you painted the seeds seems to emphasize how juicy and luscious the piece of fruit is. I also like the contrast between the detail work on the left side and the simple color bands on the right with the green rind against the grey background.

Amit, this is a striking self portrait in the style of Van Gogh. The facial proportions are excellent and I know you were learning about that in art class. As always I love your use of color and your bold fluid brush strokes. Were you happy with your painting?

Dear Amit, I know how hard it is to work with water colors and let the colors merge. I think you did a fabulous job. It really looks as if your sea turtle is swimming beneath the water. I love the way you painted the flippers and the soft colors of the shell and the feel of movement in the water. Well done

Hi Amit, I love the way you blended the Fall colors and then added the stark black contrast to suggest the trees and contour.

Dear Amit I liked the stark simplicity of your black and white line drawing of a river running towards stark mountain peaks and the contrast with the green and blue background and sky which gave the impression of even more distance. The salt effect worked well. I recently learned to use coarse salt for effects in watercolors, very cool! Love Grandma Hilary.

I love the vibrant colors of the Toucan and the pose with his enormous yellow beaks and big eye.i like the balance and contrast in the colors you chose.??

Dear Amit, Your tree is stupendous. I feel as if I am standing at the bottom craning my neck to look up to the top of a very tall tree as the sunsets, and the branches are silhouetted against that flaming sky. It's a powerful painting and interesting viewpoint. Your paintings are always interesting and individualistic.

Hi Amit, you did it again, a wonderful picture! Your use of color is amazing, the way the pink and orange blend dreamily and contrast with the blue sky and water. I also like the balance of the blue sky with just a hint of white clouds with the blue lake leading my eye diagonally into the picture. I love looking at this picture . it makes me think of distant deserts with snow capped mountains and a lake or the sea in the foreground. What were you thinking of when you painted it? xxx

What a wonderful painting; the colors and movement and exuberance. I feel as if I want to step into the picture and hike through those hills and mountains. I like it so much that I have ordered notecards with this picture on the front. I am writing notes to some older people in an assisted living facility as part of a Tzedakah project ( they also get Challah) and I am sure they will love getting cards with your artwork.xxx

Amit, I love your picture of the raccoons climbing a tree. Is this a collage? I like the way you made the bark and the leaves.

Amit: I love the use of lines and dots in this piece to create definition for this very interesting pumpkin! I also love the color contrast of the orange pumpkin against a blue background. Way to go!
