Chip, I've got to say that I didn't quite "get" your creation at first, but the more I looked at it, it grew on me and I "saw" it and really like it. Thanks! Your art also introduced me to Louise Nevelson, who I wasn't familiar with, and I can see how you were inspired. Keep up the great work, Chip! (Roll Tide!)

This is amazing! The bark on the trees looks so realistic and those shadows! Wow! And, I love, love, love the colors in the sky! Makes the whole pic seem cold and snowy!

Chip, this is great! When I first looked at your painting, the background jumped out at me and that's all I saw. But as I looked at it a second more, the birch trees came to life, with their shadows and all, and the painting came together beautifully. I like that it's a bit abstract and makes me look twice and think. Good job!

Hey, Chip! You made a rockin' Dragon! I can just see him in a Chinese New Year parade. I loved the colors you chose, and I especially liked the way you made his belly different than his back scales. And his tail .... I can see it swooshing down the street! Good job!
