No, no, Shawn! You must hang a stocking, not a mitten!

I am glad this fish is smiling because if it wasn’t it looks big enough to eat me!

This is really cool Shawn! Interesting how the layers add depth, isn’t it? We decided to order an ornament of this one.

This is the one we chose for an ornament! Love fromGrandpop, Rosie and me.

Does this one have a story? The layout and proportions make me think of a secret village.

I really like the color choices, but I’m even more impressed with the symmetry you’ve achieved! This one makes me feel happy and relaxed! Good job Shawn!

Grandpop and I were discussing how difficult it must have been to achieve symmetry on this particular piece. We also like the colors. Good job!

This is a most unusual piece of art, and very creative! His name must be “Happy” because no way can you see him without smiling! God has given you the gift of creativity and you use it well! I think God is glad that you use it to create beauty and happiness! Thank you!

This picture is hanging in the living room, and everyone who sees it really likes it. When I tell them you did it, they are surprised because they thought it was made by an adult artist! Keep it up!!! We love and miss you!

This one tells a story! It is about order and progression. It inspires confidence!

Well Shawn this piece of artwork could keep me entertained for hours and hours! I can see so many faces in it— dogs, cats, and humans! I think you picked the right color, too. Red might make it seem overwhelming and yellow might be too much with the black. I hope you had as much fun making it as we did seeing it! It really draws the viewer in!

Wow! How did you do that? The colors are brilliant and complement each other perfectly! Are you going to be an artist when you finish school? We think you should consider it.

Wow that must have taken forever ! I really like your color choices! You must show me how you did that! It would make a great Easter decoration! I feel happy when I look at it!

Shawn these trees are so real I remembered when my Dad took us into the Michigan woods to get a Christmas tree and there were many birch trees there. They looked like the trees in your picture! You did a great job, Shawn!

You fooled me!! When I saw your picture I was taken many years back to when my Dad took us into the woods to get a Christmas tree! There were many birch trees in the woods and they looked like the ones in your picture! You did a really good job, Shawn!

Wow, Shawn! What beautiful rich colors! The brown-Goldie color is a bold excellent choice to set off the fruit! The fruit makes my mouth water! Keep up the good work!

I love this one, Shawn! Today Covid has made us all wary of each other and made some of us feel disconnected and alone. When I look at this piece it makes me feel very calm and reminds me that we are all concerned about getting sick; we are all connected in our concern not to forget to keep each other safe. We are all still United!

This guy looks like he would be fun to play with! Why do I feel like I know him? Hmm! With such a big smile and joyful expression, he reminds me of somebody I love . . .YOU! You at Christmas and your birthday, and playing with neat toys!

WOW, Shawn!!! I love it! It makes me feel calm and happy - the way I felt when I was 14 and walking home from work on a wonderful summer evening. It must have taken a long time to make, but my goodness it was really worth it! Please keep up the good work.
