Watercolor and ghouls!... so lovely and so eerie with purple bats and yellow ghosts, I felt like I was in the world of Tim Burton and his delightful terror. Wickedly lovely

This Myan inspired, Warhol driven piece brings together the ancient and the pop world perfectly. The bi-colored script calls out the boldness of the artist and his humor culminating in a desired effect of both whimsy and high art form. Fabulous, just fabulous.

I have taken a bite out of the big apple and it was never as dreamy as this lovely in-line sculpture. Thomas has captured the soft gritty underbelly of the city but has taken in it's mesmerizing shapes and underlying whimsy. Just brilliant!

Not since Hopper's night hawks as the stark city scape seemed so vulnerable. The unique lonely buildings stand strong against a long night with a promise of tomorrow written in their well lit facades. Another masterpiece of surreal realism. Bravo.

This piece of art is a perfect photograph from my memories. The birch and the fence row is part of my psyche growing up in northwest Ohio. Thomas has taken the slow rolling hills and added the pastels of a perfect mid-winter's sunrise. The darkness just leaving and the promise of a new day has been relived a million times and thanks to Thomas, we can relive it over and over. Simply marvelous! Bethie

Not since the Mona Lisa first peered from her canvas has there been a face that could move mountains. Thomas has done what di Vinci only wished he could... draw himself as he really was and not dowdy woman with an infectious smirk. Thomas's self portrait looks off into the future and it's no surprise, because this is a boy who knows what he wants. Let's not even begin to talk about that framing, WOW!!! Bethie

Muppets meet the Nightmare before Christmas in this extraordinary piece of watercolor. The + border gives the positive push this angel needs to fend off demons or go out on the town. The night mood suggests this angel is flying high into the evening sans pearls which notoriously get caught in the wings. Nice attention to detail for an up an up and coming artist. Bethie

Being a fan of the hapless Browns but an afficanado of Big Ben, I was torn by the subject matter but what is not in dispute is the artist. Thomas expands his mighty pallet with each new piece. This use of construction paper and crayon is genius and I was moved by the message and saddened deeply because I know in my heart, my Browns will be defeated repeatedly on the field by these dasterdly Steelers. Mixed Media meet musical matsterpiece. This collage shouts 1970's piano recital. The paneling adds warmth and there is nothing better than a fresh set of "jazz hands". Cudos to this young brilliant talent, Bethie

Andy Warhol would be proud to see your use of the image of the moment and transforming it into a new and separate light. The use of primary colors to accent is only overshadowed the by use of two different blues who's subtle hint to his politics and the spectrum of ideas his party represents. Well done THomas.

One the surface, a loving tribute to Thomas's future alma mater but the geometric design conjures up images of early Picasso and the primary color work of Mondrian. The constant symmetry allows the mind to follow Thomas on his journey with marker and canvas. Tremendous!

Your ode to the joy of sugary delights is simple in its design but long on the issue of "sweet after salty" and you've taken your stand in two colors. The throw-back realism of the '50's diner signs harkens back to the roadside places of your youth... not so much you but your grandmothers. Cheers to you Thomas and your caloric delight in Crayola. The Old West intersects with a throw-back to cap gun holsters from the '50's and '60's. Your statement on the plight of the vanishing cowboy isn't lost only enhanced by the burnt orange of the sunset our childhood heroes rode off into and the brown of the sand that became an indelible part of their lives. A remarkable piece worthy of the great cowboy poets and the modern western painters. Bravisimo!!!

Not since the water lilies debuted in the impressionist movement has circles come alive. The artist's use of muted primary tones beckon back to those first days when the painted broke free from the studio and brought the canvas to life from the forms of the world beyond the studio. This may very well become the signature piece in the Thomas collection.

This is a warming multi-media work that captures the beach. I swear when I put my ear next to this work and could hear the ocean roar. Tremendous! Bethie

You holiday materpiece captures the whimsy of dressing like a ghost and the reminder of the scary undercurrent with a gravestone-esque brilliance. The scars across your ghouls body suggests a hard knock life but the resemblance to railoroad track lets us into the well-travelled spirits of your spirit... both the artist and his creation. Bethie

Both the cranky and the sweet are represented in this scariest of the holiday delight. The frumpy witch is juxtaposed brilliantly with the bumpkin pumpkin. The mood lighting makes this piece priceless just like the artist who created it. ;->

This piece of fantastical fun is mixed medium delight. It begs you to look into its furry eyes all the while never letting you forget the artist's name, THOMAS. This is among my favorite Thomases in the collection. Bethie

The new direction of your art is both exciting and a tad bit scary, although the monster has that "ah, just give me a hug" look about him. Bravo and well done Master Thomas. You rock in every art circle!!! - Bethie

Your art is evolving. We will be looking back at this period as your brown/black years. Like Picasso before you who understood that blue was the new black, you have made brown/black the new brown/black. I look forward to your next exhibit and will try to catch it the next time I'm in NYC by way of Cecil.

Your Christmas tree is folksy and yet understated. By the way, where did you get those buttons? Do I have to check my closet? Honestly Thomas, you are GREAT!!!
