The black and white is more creative than the standard stamping trial. Experimenting with bright colors with the black and dark colors with the white might create an elevating artpiece.

The name of your artwork is very creative and I can clearly see the relation between your piece and its title. The contrast between black and dark gray lines against the white striped sections creates a decent weaving effect and an appealing checkerboard pattern.
