Maria, This is a perfect example of how detailed and precise you are in depicting what you envision! Way to go girl! I like that you are not afraid to show your work. Those who create are usually their worst critics. I admire your willingness and drive to expand your creative artistic talents by trying new methods and mediums to express your visions. For me this is not the type of art work I like best, but that is not important. What is important, is that you continue to test and experiment with different subjects and methods to grow and refine your God-given abilities, and to prove to yourself that your abilities are truly exceptional and limitless!

The Shading work clearly demonstrates your understanding and appreciation of how important light and shadows are to creating reality in your work. Something many artists never master. You should be proud of your progress.

I admire your courage to tackle such difficult subjects. I went back and forth several times comparing the original to your creation. You did a remarkable job capturing Michelangelo’s “Creation of Adam” hands images!

Maria, your choice of pastel colors is eye-catching and a delight to view. It is as pleasing to view as the name Maria is to hear! The font you chose for the name “Maria” also conveys the smooth flowing sound that is heard when Maria is pronounced. Very original! May your artistic talents continue to grow!
