I love this sculptural interpretation of Anya! The white and brown "stripes" are such a cool abstraction of her fur coat markings. The texture you made on the surface looks just like fur!! It's a clever translation of something soft (fur) into something hard (clay). SOOOO cool! :) -- Yiyi C

Whoa! Your interpretation of an Egyptian figure is so cool!! I love how you simplified the shapes and details—it make the picture very graphic and bold. The way you used the water color pencils to outline the shapes gives the figure a lot of dimension, which is so unique and very original because Egyptian figures are usually flat! HAHA -- Yiyi C

This creature is SO IMAGINATIVE and FUN!! You really optimized this medium and made the texture of the fur look so FLUFFY, and it's body is so dimensional and spherical. I especially love the teensy wings, compared to the the size of the body! :) -- Yiyi C

I immediately recognized your interpretation of Dali's painting, "The Persistence of Memory"! Your drawing beautifully captures the melting clocks in the landscape. And the beach in the distance shows perspective and space. Wonderful drawing! -- Yiyi C

I LOVE these block letters! So original and dynamic with all the unique patters and details. The whole composition really comes alive and is very active. I especially love how the second "S" is squeezed in and the last "E" is on top of it. It makes your name very dimensional and creates movement. And the patterns on the letters and around the letters adds to the dimensionality. SO COOOOLLL! I used to draw block letters ALL THE TIME—and I still love to draw type!
