The piece shows depth with just lines that create shape without an outline. The gradation of darker parts is shown to show darkness and lightness is created by spacing out lines. Overall a very good piece that show perspective in a surrounding.

This start provides a good example of one-point perspective, creating a deep sense of a receding space that pulls the eye toward a singular central vanishing point. The geometric precision of the lines defining the corridor contrasts with the textured surface of the carpet, giving the image a raw quality. The use of vertical and diagonal lines effectively simulates three-dimensions on a flat plane, a technique used to represent interior structures like hallways notoriously. Overall, the “liminal space” aesthetic impends a quiet mood that emphasizes the vastness of the empty hallway.

This is a great start to something amazing. I can see the direction you’re trying to go towards. The use of the shadow and the contrast of it all it astounding. One thing I would try to do differently is the ceiling and make the pattern of the tiles clearer. Great job.

I enjoy the never ending effect the rooms give. The black and white brings depth and intensity. It’s a little eerie. I’m excited to see your final product.

I really enjoy the stools. It’s a little dark for me. The legs overlap. But i see the effort

This stippling technique is impressive, showing a high level of patience and control with the style. I love how you’ve integrated sharp, geometric facets across the face to create such a unique distortion. The contrast between the fine dot-work and the bold shapes gives the portrait a fascinating sense of depth and movement. It’s a striking piece, and the strands throughout the hair really define the fragmented sections of the true expression.

The gradation between the value tones is smooth and the contrast between each section is apparent. However, the value tones are not clearly expressed as the dark value tones is not dark enough causing the artwork to look less like a fracture. Moreover, the shading gives as realistic effect to the artwork.

The eyes in this portrait are extremely prominent and expressive, and should make for very interesting fractured images. The shadow in this picture actually allows more of the lines and details to be seen easier, so editing the image and darkening before posting may help strengthen the illusion.

The contrast was applied really well, I enjoy how it makes some areas stand out. The scene also uses space to create depth. The different textures make it look really interesting.

I enjoy the contrast between the heavy and light lines. The darkness of the lines is nice

The contrast in the artwork gives definition to all the things that are supposed to be shown like the mountain. The patterns are well used in the different parts of the piece.

I enjoy how the thickness of the pen has an effect on the textures. The shadows behind the mountains were done very nicely.

The clarity of this piece is enhanced by your use of a dark ink pen and thicker lines that have clear definition. Your choice to have some different kinds of shading interact and crossover is very interesting and creates some of the most intriguing parts of the piece, but does not ruin the patterns shown.

Shading around all sides of each shape both on and off the table-like surface they lie on was a perfect way to elevate the illusion of light source being at different points in relation to the objects. These also showcase impressive contrasts between bright, shiny areas and darker dull ones.

The way your shading techniques are able to distort certain areas of the image and portrayed broken sections within the mountains is a highlight of this work. Going from thin to thick and short to long lines in places like on the ground was also a great idea and pushes the illusion and lighting further.

The way you were able to create a real shine effect on the sphere is very impressive, and though your lines are a bit more visible than ideal in some of the dark shading areas, is overall done really well and has a defining effect on the geometric shapes, the only thing taking away from this is the lines that run outside of the shapes, like seen primarily on the cube.

A sense of depth was communicated well. The viewer can really tell that it is woven. There’s a lot of interesting texture and strong colors that contrast well.

The line work creates texture within your piece and the use of primary colors creates a sense of unity and cohesiveness. I also noticed how the left side of your artwork was much brighter with hints of yellow while the right side was darker with hints of navy blue for the shadow.

I enjoy the texture of the lines, i feel like it’s stretching

The red and blue lines really makes the weaving look realistic.

I enjoy the contrast between the red and blue with the yellow. The negative space makes the weaving seem very dimensional
