Not your usual dragon! Love the purple with pink highlights. How did you achieve the speckled effect? It looks like a functional piece. Could store jewelry perhaps. I really like this! You even included teeth!!

I want that sweater!! The bright colors make me smile and fill my heart with happiness. The kitty has such a sweet expression and appears quite happy with the sweeter. The delicate penciling depicts soft fur and the three markings on the top of this kitty's head remind me of several kitties I have loved. Well done!!

Adalynn, I did not know about the Chicago Bean until you created this city scape. Uncle Van and I researched the “bean,” which is clearly on view in your art work. I can see the tall skyscrapers surrounding the bean. I imagine this was a challenging project. Thanks to your mom, you have had experience working with clay! I really like this, Adalynn! Well done!

I love your musical artwork on so many levels. My heart is full knowing that you are enjoying learning to play the trombone. You used your artistic ability to convey your interest with a keyboard border, notation, treble clefs, and slide positions. How did you achieve the splattered look?
