I am NOT a critique, nor do I know anything about art and I am also the putrid father of the artist...lol... This seems to be a welcomed inclusion of mass culture as a legitimate expression of contemporary aesthetics and sought to erase the boundaries of after school art...lol. The piece likely reflects the more familiar trappings of POP ART, a embodied by Andy Warhol, James Rosenquist-and, more recently, Richard Prince. I could go on and on, but let me surmise and just say.... Yay NOELLE it is awesome!
