Interesting take, Anna. I confess that I read it as a scathing indictment of 18th century colonialism. But we can both be right: such is the brilliance of John!

This clearly demonstrates John's inspiration of the current special Andy Warhol exhibit at The Art Institute. Nodding to contemporary pop culture-based art, this twist on the characters of in the film, "Coraline" is thought provoking.

I am proud to say that John donated this delightful duo sculpture piece entitled "Hogwart's Motorcycles" to my own personal art collection yesterday. Instead of choosing an exclusive gallery such as Sotheby's, John's art will be available for viewing by the common public, and not just exclusively to a small elite class. Banksy would be so proud of his artistic morals. -- AnnaG

AnnaG - I agree with the basic thrust of your esthetic cirtique and the socio-trans-cultural implications of this piece, especially in the context of the #MeToo era and in a post-Raphaelite world. I would only add that when compared to John29577, Hirst suddenly seems a simpleton and a dullard. -- Mike

This sculpture is truly a profound commentary on life in the 21st century. The figure is completety envelopped in an uncomfortable wave, yet he smiles . What a great analogy to the modern person's imprisonment by social media obsession. John's talent is the new rival to Damien Hirst. -- AnnaG
