I love this, Melissa... It reminds me so much of my last visit to the Dallas World Aquarium. The way you've painted the tentacles really makes it seem as though they are swaying in an ocean current!

Oh I'm so bad going through emails. I like this! The light blue bands in the background along with the white and bright yellow on the edge of the tree, along with the shading, makes it stand right out and look like it's being lit from behind. Nice work!

Nice use of shadowing. I like how this is kind of abstract, but yet has some details like the eyes and lips that almost look life like. I think that you have a future doing this. I think that there are people out there that would see the value and have a place for something like these paintings. Need to have sizes big enough for mini mansions. ;)
