Lindsay Louie, Roscoeman must have been around because your corn looks like someone bit into it without their front teeth. I think I figured out all the symbolism in your art except what the "pencil" represents. So give it up to me and spill your guts as to just what you were trying to say. I DID enjoy all the vibrant colors you chose to use. Love from the farm, where pumpkins can be grown, Grandad

When horses fly is a lot better than "When Pigs Fly". This has been a fun year of viewing your art. Will you be able to continue posting your art at middle school? Enjoy your summer break---that is if your Mom will let you have some down time to sleep in three or four days a week. Love from the farm, where the snapping turtles get bigger every year, Grandad

Hey Lou, You do pay attention to nature when you come out to the farm to visit. This bird looks just like some of the birds we have around the creek and lake. The only difference is most of them are standing on one leg. Since you used "oil" pastels in making this bird you better check with the environmental wackoes on how to clean that oil out of his feathers before PETA comes calling. Love from the farm, Grandad

Lindsay Lou Ann, So this is how your vocal chords look when you scream. Keep those pictures coming, I enjoy each and every one of them. Love, Grandad

Lindsay Lou, Who knew a hand could be so interesting? You certainly found a way to make it such! I'm still trying to determine if the back core of your hand resembles a spider's web, a watch or a sundial. That fingernail flying off your ring finger is a pretty nifty touch. Converting those fingernails to birds flying away is even greater. Love ya Kid, Grandad

Lindsay Lou, If you hadn't made your "O" so big it could be standing up straight like your "L", "V" & "E" do. Enough critiquing, your message is great and I'm thinking it was meant just for me!!! Love from the farm, Grandad

Lindsay Lou, Man your picture makes me even colder than I was out here on the farm. Although you once again magnificently captured nature via your picture; could you find it in the recesses of your heart to send out some art with warm expressions so your ol' Grandad could thaw out a bit. Love from the freezing farm, Grandad, who loves you tons more than your pictures

Lindsay Lou, After you're rich and famous will you still remember your old Grandad? Maybe you'll even permit me to be your booking agent as you traverse the world promoting your art. If not, just send me a check each month and I'll be happy and even stay out of your way...if the check is big enough that is! Love from the farm, Grandad

My what piercing eyes your owl has! Hoo, Hoo, Hoo knew you could create such a menacing Halloween symbol? I did, I did...because I believe in my granddaughter's ability to do anything she sets her mind to doing. Love from the farm where owls keep me awake at night, Grandad

Lindsay Lou, You better be working on developing an artistic rendition of a "Titan" in lieu of that "Tiger" you've already made. Unless, you are planning on graduating from THE original high school in Lee's Summit! Love, Grandad

I am so very impressed by your artistic abilities! It is hard to pick which one is my favorite. I picked this one since you talked about it the most! All I can say is awesome job, luby! Love ya, Mom
