Hi Caitlin, My mom and I (your great great aunt Jeanne) are in Nebraska now and I received the e-mail about your poppy picture. We love it and it sets a nice tone for the holiday. The colors are wonderful and your shading makes me feel like I am right there! I looked your other recent pictures and especially enjoyed the wax resist. Keep it up young artist:-) -- Janie

It's been entirely too long since I've looked at your artwork! I love the most recent clay vessel and the perspective on this piece is wonderful. Looking forward to seeing you when my mom & I come to visit in late May. Perhaps I'll get to see some of your work in person . . . If I'm lucky;-) -- Janie

Your picture is wonderful. It must have taken a long time to do it. Your trees are real looking and your shadows are good.

Not only did I enjoy your collage, but I learned something! I didn't know who Arcimboldo was so looked him up and found out quite a lot. My sister Jerene, whom you met last May, has been to the Louvre, where some of his works are, so I wonder if she's seem them??? Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing even more from you before the end of the school year. Love, Janie
