Wow, Tamsin! This is great. It looks very much like you. Hair is really difficult to draw realistically. You did a wonderful job!

Dear Tamsin, This week, Teresa and I went to an art show and demonstration of Japanese sumi-e ink art. The artist from Wakayama, Japan, had been at his craft for many years. Your artwork of the butterflies and bamboo surpass many of his pieces in the exhibit. You are a true artist. Way to go! Love, Aunt Kay.

Hi Tamsin! Your grandma sent me the link to your artwork and I had a chance to view all 83 pieces. It is apparent that even from the beginning (kindergarten) you possessed an innate talent for art expression. I love especially all the Japanese watercolors and colorful koi. You are very blessed to have a school and teacher that honors art as an important part of your education and all the chances to use different media lets you demonstrate your creativity. I am so proud of you! Steve and I are definitely fans. Can't wait to see your next posting. Love you.

Dear Tamsin, This chalk drawing of the Greek vases is excellent! I was struck by the crisp dark details of the designs in the pottery and the soft hazy colors of the background. You really understand how to make a beautiful piece of artwork! I just love it. Keep up the great work, Tamsin! Love, Grandma

Dear Tamsin, Your "Personalized Greek Column" is very interesting. It tells a lot about you, your interests and hobbies. I know you are good at music, art, writing, science, reading and so many other things. You love to cook, and you love cats and have many friends. You are talented at the piano, clarinet, ice-skating and have done other activities such as gymnastics, swimming, ballet, tennis and other sports. You are amazing!!! There wouldn't be a column tall enough to fit all the things you are involved in. I'm so proud of you, my darling and beautiful granddaughter and your family loves you.

WOW! This is awesome, Tamsin!!!! I think it's even more beautiful than Keith Haring's artwork, in my opinion. Look at all the great colors you used. I love the eight figures, especially the green one hanging up-side-down! You did an amazing job. Please do more artwork like this. You will be as famous as Mr. Haring! I feel lucky to have you for my granddaughter! Love, Grandma
