Hi Reese, I was viewing your artwork and saw what I thought was one of your latest. Any particular reason you titled it “poop”? I actually liked the color. Love Grandma C

Well, Reese, even if you are not fond of this particular project you have gained experience in something new and maybe the next time you do batik this project will enable you create something you love. I have to say that I do really like the left 2/3 of this piece. :-) Love you, Grandma Jo

Reese, I found it interesting that you chose to paint a galaxy on the record...at your age, for me, records were a big part of my "galaxy". Like your art life doesn't always follow the plan we think is what we want but in my experience the plan God has for us is so much better. I love to watch the evolution of your art work and read your explanations of how you got to where a particular work ends. So happy I get to see this very special part of you Reese. Love you, Grandma Jo

Wow, Reese I love this...I love how the flowers appear to be falling, I love the way light is played against dark, I love how a couple of the flowers are almost faded into the background. It kind of reminds me of falling stars. The explanations you write about how you got to this point always make me pleased with your thought process. Love you, Grandma Jo

Nice job, Reese! I like how you changed the colors in a gradual way from left to right, and I also like the unexpected addition of the geometric/straight-lined element in with all the organic shapes. I love you! Mom aka “Mother”

Perfect title, Reese! This had to be a fun piece to create. I love the flow of color and wonder what your thoughts were when adding the three sided box? / doorway? on the left. You are a treasure, darlin'! Love, Grandma Jo

Reese, your art is absolutely beautiful! It looks like a lot of care was taken to create it. Is it metal work? Was it difficult to get the finished product that you wanted. I hope you are proud of it because you should be and I'm proud of you. Love, Grandma Jo
