This is a very interesting painting, Zoe. I’m wondering what kind of paint you used and if you had to work on it more than one class. I like the colors you used. This reminds me of a sunset or sunrise over water. Very pretty! Hope you had fun painting!

Hi Zoe, I am interested in how you planned and executed this project. I like your choice of fabric! Very pretty!

Hi Zoe! It looks to me like you did a 3 D rendition of the different stages of a penguin’s development starting with the egg. Very interesting and fun. I bet you enjoyed making them!

Hi Zoe! When I read what your teacher had you do to decide what to draw, I wondered what went through your mind for possibilities. It’s not surprising to me you picked an animal to draw. I’m wondering if the animal is running to something or away from something. We will have to talk about it. Nice work!

Zoe, this is another picture I really like! I love the colors and pattern in the honeycomb and I’m impressed with the detail of the bee! Very cool picture!

Zoe, it looks like you are moving beyond 2 dimensions in your art classes. This looks like you made a loom and did some weaving. Auntie Gina likes “evil eye” symbols and that’s what this reminds me of. Ask her about it next time you see her.

Zoe, what an interesting project! Is his your first time working with clay at school? Must have been fun to see how every step made your dish look different. Can’t wait to see it at home! Love, Grammie

Hi Zoe! I love this picture! It must have been fun to make. The background watercolors are so pretty and the black tree against them makes a striking contrast.

Oh Zoe! This is so you! Rainbow happiness and pumpkins in perspective. Love the little green curlicues!

I love your pumpkin path and the depth you've created with your art. My favorite is the baby pumpkin last in line on the left. I wonder if there's a pot of gold at the end of that rainbow?

WOW ZOE!!! Your artwork is really starting to take shape. That guitar looks so real like I can reach right in and take it out of the picture and start to play it. I bet you didn't know mommy once took guitar lessons. I think I still have her guitar in my basement. Maybe she can play it for you someday. Can't wait to see what you do next!

Very interesting artwork here! I want to know how you made it. It looks like a combination of drawing, painting, cutting, and string or yarn - a collage? Let’s talk!

Zoe! This is one of the prettiest pictures I’ve seen you create! You know how I love flowers and the color blue! And there is a little peek of Nonno’s favorite color too. I also like the lines in the petals. I want to know how you did that. Just beautiful! ??
