Aidan, I want you to know how much I appreciate your talent in the art work you create. You have a very special talent and I would encourage you to continue to enjoy and develop this talent. It is a special gift God created in you!! It also comes from the genetic nature in some of your family. I recognize it in two members of our family. One you know; your Mom. She has this gift as well. I wish she had time to use it in her busy life. At some point in the future, I hope she returns to this gift and talent. The other you do not know. It is your Grandma Treva's brother, your Uncle Kenny. When he lived with us after he left high school early before graduating. He lived with us and we offered that opportunity as long as he returned to High School while living with us. It turned out to be a very positive experience for him. He was a very bright student that never was apparent while living under difficult circumstances in Wichita. There were two things that impacted his life forever. One he was a very natural Basketball player without ever playing organized basketball. He was such a natural talent that the coach, who was also the gym teacher, asked him to join the team. He became a regular starter on a team that already was outstanding and became State Champions. But his real talent that was never known, was as an artist. His painting were extraordinary. Even to the extent the school submitted his art for state competitions and he won several awards. His teacher encouraged us to send him to college for the arts. He felt he had a natural talent that was very rare for someone his age. He never desired to do that. I wish I had some of his art work to show you. I don't. I tell you this to encourage you that you may have a natural talent like he had and your Mom has. Please keep up this gift God has created in you. Love, PD
