Greetings to all Wildcats-
A few changes have been made to the remote/virtual art schedule. I still would like to connect with your child via video conferencing, using the TEAMS app found on your child's laptop or another device that supports this feature. If you wish for your child to participate, please log them in via your device and provide supervision during the use of the conferencing tool. The details to connect to our meeting are below.

Kindergarten and first grade remote/virtual learners can stop by during "Show and Share" anytime on Wednesday and/or Thursday from 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. At this time students can ask questions and show me what they are working on at home. LINK BELOW:

All remote/virtual learners, especially 2 - 5 graders, may join me on Fridays. During these Friday "Show and Share" sessions we will review what was covered during class with a mini-lesson and students will be able to show me what they have been doing at home. We will meet anytime from 1:00 - 2:30. LINK BELOW:

A new Canvas Module "Unplugged 2" will be posted next week for 2 - 5 grade. There is a Canvas module "Art with Ms. Higgins" that has the meeting links and art class details also. All remote students have been given supplies during our Face to Face class time. If you are a virtual student that needs additional supplies please contact me at Teresa.Higgins@ucps.k12.nc.us.

The "Start Here" page is the first one you see for your grade level when you open up Canvas. As the year progresses other lessons will be posted. To locate additional lessons, find the PAGES tab at the top or in the menu bar on the left. A list of pages will appear and you can select something different from those choices.
The draw-a-long with UncleFred link is blocked on the students computers. It can be accessed directly at Unclefred.com by using a different device. It is a safe and neat drawing program that all kids will enjoy!
