The "earth" without "art" is just "eh."- Ned Roram

Some great news! In the past week I was awarded a $500.00 grant from Chalk It Up that will go towards the purchase of art materials for the classroom. YAY!

I am very thankful for all of your continued support and I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season!

Just for Grade 7

The 7th Grade students have finished their Looney Tune Grid Art Projects and they look FANTASTIC! When we return from break we will begin creating 3-d Letter Sculptures that spell out positive messages in the style of Robert Indiana. LOVE! You child can still bring in their Poster board for this project if they haven’t already. These pieces will be showcased in the Pop Art exhibit scheduled to open in February- stay tuned!

Just for Grade 8

The 8th Grade classes have completed their first Pop Art Pieces- Post-it Note Murals! These fun murals will be displayed in our upcoming Pop Art Exhibit scheduled to open in February. After break we will continue Pop Art Studies focusing on Pop Art Portraits and Cake Art! YUM! We will need 90 cupcakes when we launch the cake project. Please email me if you are interested in donating cupcakes. :)
