Value tones were created and blended beautifully, and the entire paper is intricately rendered. The dark spots communicate form, as the planes that are away from the light are covered in darkness, and the planes and bends that stick out remained light. In between the mid tones create a sense of flow throughout the piece, and the cast shadows, of appropriate value, communicate depth.
