The artist successfully grasped the concept of working in the negative, creating the illusion of a guitar. The top part of the strings was made by creating the illusion of strings, while in the bottom half the strings were made with the tape. Additionally, the artist’s craftsmanship is evident, as each piece was placed carefully and the design looks well thought out and original. The strings leading down to the center of the piece allows the viewers eye to travel from the top to the bottom of the artwork with ease, creating an entrance.
