Simon, your birds are easy to see and definitely do convey a fierceness, particularly in the eyes, color choice, and symbols on the body. Despite the challenges you described with using the trackpad, the pieces overall fit well. Artists who work on the computer will often use a graphics tablet, which allows much more precise, natural movements and marks. Where you alternated the different colored birds, the contrast is quite easy and much easier to distinguish the birds vs. having two of the same colored birds next to each other. Glad you stuck with it!
