This looks like it was created with colored tissue paper and a black pen. It makes the vases look like see-through glass with different designs on each one. But after looking at it more closely, the matching colored designs above and below each vase makes me wonder if they were painted with water color paints. Either way, it creates a delicate, 3 dimensional image. The fact that the vases overlap also adds to their interest.
