I love this! When I look at this piece, I get transported back to my childhood, when a big group of us would gather together and spread out around the edge of a giant, rainbow-colored parachute. We'd each grab a little section, drop down to the ground, count to three, then stand up fast and jump high, up into the sky. The parachute would billow upwards, and we'd all scramble under it and wait. I can still feel that parachute floating back down over us, draping our little huddle of kids under its soft, silky, pillowy shelter. Thank you for the memory, Ash!
