The use of monochromes and featuring everyday items brings to mind the work of Warhol or Wesselmann. The composition of the shoes invokes the triskelion, a symbol of transcendence, of transition from one state to another, perhaps a comment on the change from boy to man, from consumer to creator? The young artist is obviously a genius.
