I am writing as a grandfather. So far my five year old grandson's two pieces of artwork have been adapted on artsonia tee shirts. Since the five year old also has a two year old brother we have been ordering matching shirts in different sizes. I am told that this has been received whole heartedly and has brought the brothers together and helped each of them in different ways. The ability to immortalize a young person's artwork for display must give the artist a strong message of accomplishment. It's a little more convincing when it's being worn on the front of your shirt than putting it on the refrigerator door.
