Biography
Hi! My name is Jill Rabalais. I'm from South Louisiana and lived here all my life. I have been teaching for almost 30 years, but talented visual art in Livingston Parish since the Fall of 1998. I graduated in 1992 from Southeastern Louisiana University with a BA in art education.
In July 2007 I married Jim and between the two of us, we have 4 children, two grandchildren, and two dogs. We enjoy fishing, Mardi Gras and are avid LSU Tiger football fans.
I love to (when I have time to do personal artwork) experiment with different media and material that would not be considered normal art media. I love working with oils and acrylics, and lately, I've been working in watercolor. But truly my favorite thing is to see one of my students come to me with this spark in their eye and an idea in their head of a piece of art they want to create!!
