Respect Week
from Mrs. Sakewicz-Frank
Practice Random Acts of Kindness
This week, in Art and Computers, several classes took time to practice Random Acts of Kindness as part of Respect Week. Using our school's Artsonia online museum, students chose other students to leave positive messages about their artwork. Please take a moment and approve your son or daughter's comments so they have a chance to read those positive messages. Remember as parents you can edit any comments your child receives if necessary. Only positive messages should be approved.

Join us the week of October 20th, when we will take time to post more positive messages during School Violence Awareness Week.

Blue Rocks Holiday Card Design Contest
This week students in Kindergarten through 5th grades will bring home their permission forms to enter the Wilmington Blue Rocks Holiday Card Design contest. Students will work on their entries during art class. Some students may choose to take their artwork home to complete, but must remember to return both the permission form and artwork to be entered in the contest. Please return permission forms as soon as possible to enter artwork in the contest and receive two tickets for entering.

Artsonia is the largest student art museum in the world! Our dream is that every young artist will have an online art gallery, preserving their masterpieces in a digital portfolio!
