Christmas Trees on Parade and December News
from Ms. Sakewicz-Frank
Christmas Trees on Parade
Tonight and tomorrow, Dec. 3rd and 4th, visit Christmas Trees on Parade at The Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit's parish center in Woodstown at 2 Lamplighter Lane. The cost at the door is $5.00 for those over 10. The funds raised go to several local charities including Ranch Hope and Disciple's Pantry.

Remember to vote for Mannington's tree, Reindeer Games before 8pm on Friday. Our students created reindeer themed ornaments. The trees come down at 9pm on Friday.

There is food, drink, and goodies available for purchase with nothing over $2.00. There are homemade soups to choose from, hot dogs, coffee, and hot chocolate. A wide variety of Christmas treats are available on the bake sale table. A craft sale is taking place as well. Santa is there to hear Christmas wishes.

Mystery Artist Project News
The December Mystery Artist on the bulletin board by the artroom is known for a painting called, "Twittering Machine" a work created in the Expressionist style of art. Examples of the artist's work are on display with several hints under the artwork. Students are invited to fill out an entry form with their name and the name of the mystery artist and put it in the can in the artroom. One entry, with the correct answer, will be pulled on the last day of the month by the previous month's winner. The winner will get to chose an Artsonia sketchbook with their choice of artwork on the cover. Janay'a in 7th grade correctly named Pablo Picasso as the October mystery artist of the month. Natalie in 8th grade correctly named Georgia O'Keeffe as the November mystery artist of the month.

Artistically Yours,

Ms. Sakewicz-Frank
