I am the K-8 art teacher for Munfordville Elementary. I have taught art for 6 years. I am a graduate from Campbellsville University where I earned my Bachelors and Masters degrees in the field of education. I encourage students to be their best and do their best, to think creatively, and to apply creative problem solving when their artworks are not turning out the way that they thought they would. I also incorporate and link other subject areas and books into art projects when possible. I also have students use their artworks for the community as well (ex: Veterans Day Program cards and ornaments that are used to decorate a local tree). Any proceeds from purchases made on Artsonia go towards providing materials needed to create our fantastic artworks!
