Brinda Pumphrey
I am excited to be teaching art at RMAE for the 13th year. I feel like I was born to teach art! I love it. I have considered myself an artist since I was a child. My favorite mediums are acrylic painting, drawing, pastels and photography. I also enjoy working with clay, sculpting, pysanki, knitting, crocheting, tie dye and any other medium I can be creative with. I have worked with kids for years, as a high school teacher, as an Odyssey of the Mind coach, as a youth group leader at our church, and as a volunteer ski instructor for the National Sports Center for the Disabled. Every year I look forward to watching my students grow as artists; they never cease to amaze me.
